DECADENT SPICED MOROCCAN HOT CHOCOLATE

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1 cup TAZO® CHOCOLATE CHAI LATTE CONCENTRATE

  • 5 inch piece of orange peel

  • or 2 tbsp orange zest

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamom

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate chips (60% cacao)

  • 1/2 cup whipping cream (optional)

PREPARE YOUR DECADENT SPICED MOROCCAN HOT CHOCOLATE


1. Add TAZO® CHOCOLATE CHAI LATTE CONCENTRATE , milk, cardamom, cinnamon, orange peel and vanilla extract and let simmer for about 10 minutes.

2. Remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes. Strain out the milk mixture and place it back on the stove top.

3. Add chocolate to milk and simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally for 3-5 minutes until chocolate melts.

4. Remove from heat and serve in a mug.

5. Top with dollops of whip cream, extra orange zest and chocolate shavings.

6. Add a splash of Grand Marnier to elevate!
