MATCHA MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP NICE CREAM
A creamy healthy dessert that also hits the decadence of rich dark chocolate.
INGREDIENTS (4 SERVINGS)
1 1/2 cups TAZO® GREEN TEA MATCHA LATTE CONCENTRATE
2 cups picked mint leaves
1 14-oz can coconut cream (chilled)
1/3 medium avocado
3 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup raw cacao nibs or dark chocolate chips
PREPARE MINT INFUSION
1. Start by infusing the TAZO® GREEN TEA MATCHA LATTE CONCENTRATE by placing tea on a low simmer and placing the picked leaves inside.
2. After about 5 minutes take off heat and let stand to infuse further for a few hours.
3. Strain the concentrate and press the leaves through your sieve to ensure maximum mint flavor.
4. Keep refrigerated until ready to use.
PREPARE ICE CREAM
1. Place the coconut cream, avocado, vanilla and strained mint infusion in a high speed blender and mix.
2. Empty blended ice cream mixture into a separate mixing bowl.
3. Add chocolate chips or melt the chocolate before adding to create a 'chocolate swirl'. (preferred)
4. Chill for at least 5 hours and remove from freezer a little before you're ready to enjoy!
