TAZO is teaming up with award-winning cafe owner, entrepreneur, producer and actress Issa Rae to launch The TAZO Cafe Collective: a network celebrating and supporting independent cafes.
Participating cafes will receive financial and marketing support, recipe inspiration, and much more.

8 oz TAZO Iced Passion Tea Concentrate
2 oz lime syrup
1 tbsp fresh grated cucumber
4 mint leaves (hand-torn)
Serve over ice

TAZO’s founding partner Hilltop is the place for dreamers and doers. Founded by two LA natives, Yonnie Hagos and Ajay Relan in 2018, they’ve recently opened their fourth location in the area and Issa Rae joined as a partner. They’re serving quality ingredients and good vibes in an environment conducive to creativity, community, and connection.
Café X: By Any Beans Necessary is a mother and daughter owned cooperative coffee shop with a vision for generational wealth building in the Black community. Built and financed from the ground up, Café X develops partnerships with community-based organizations, sustains creative and artistic projects, and develops the next generation of leaders to improve the quality of life in our communities – one cup at a time.
Hibiscus Brew is a wellness nutrition café born out of the pandemic that seeks to bring a slice of the Caribbean to Brooklyn with our signature hibiscus beverage. We believe that food is a way to bring people of all types together to laugh, share, and nourish each other. Owned by Jamaican-American Allison Dunn, Hibiscus Brew provides food and community to Brooklyn inspired by our Caribbean roots.
BouNom is a café and bakery where everything is lovingly made from scratch, by hand, daily. Owner and founder, Khamla Vorasane, is a self-taught pastry chef who ensures that everyone who comes into the cafe is treated like family. The community, in turn, has shown its love for BouNom by voting it “Best Bakery” every year since its founding in 2020. We look forward to continuing to serve our community like family, with one delectable pastry at a time.
