Through the screened front door, zingy lemongrass and spritely spearmint coax contemplative pan-fired green teas to come play. Calmly, lemon verbena opens the door and invites them all to a cup of tea...
Zen is a school of Mahāyāna Buddhism that teaches meditation and direct experience as the path to wisdom and enlightenment.
Use one heaping teaspoon of loose leaves per 8 fl oz of 175° water. Let it steep for 3 minutes and wait for perfection.

Perfectly light and refreshing Unlike other reviewers, I find this to be the perfect iced tea in the afternoon. Its light, refreshing flavor is an excellent energy boost during a busy day and its lack of caffeine makes it a reasonable alternative to water. I find that I can more easily reach my daily water goals if I keep a large tumbler of iced Zen at my desk, and it's a great option at the gym. April 15, 2013
This tea is definatley worth it!!! Organic Zen? YES. This amazing tea is sooo good for the morning and if you chill it it is even better in the afternoon on a hot day when you just need to regenerate and relax. The spearmint and lemongrass give a great little kick to it without over powering it. I love this pick and definately recommend it. -Alyssa March 12, 2013
Lovely, lovely tea This tea is a very good morning tea for those of us who have had to cut down on caffeine. A lemony, minty cup (or two) of Zen leaves you feeling alert and awake, without noticeable caffeine aftereffects. I've had the Tazo Zen tea made with tea bags (both regular tea bags and full-leaf mesh tea bags) and enjoyed it very much. I liked the results from the full-leaf tea bags best, but found that it was hard to find it packaged that way in the small town I live in. So I decided to order it direct from Tazo. I purchased the loose, full-leaf tea. I really like the loose tea because I can adjust on the tea strength to suit my preference of the moment.. sometimes I like stronger tea, sometimes milder. I think it will end up being much more economical to use the loose tea than the tea bags. Which is a nice bonus. February 11, 2013
Great Tazo is and has always been my favorite! It tastes great, is a reasonable price, and I am happy Starbucks introduced me to it. December 9, 2012
